The European Social Club was created as an initiative to strengthen communication between European laboratories interested in the neurobiology of social behaviors. Since July 2021  has hosted regular virtual meetings where researchers share new findings and tools, fostering collaboration across European labs.

After the success of our first in-person meeting in Erice (Italy) in 2023, we are ready to meet again. This time the meeting will be held in Coimbra (Portugal), declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. The European Social Club 2025 meeting will gather experts from fields like Neuroscience, Psychology, and Ethology to explore the evolution and mechanisms of social behaviors across species.
